When Should I Stop Smoking?
Immediately!!!
When I was a kid, my parents used to say that ‘Save for a rainy day'. And thereafter I saved every work for the next day. Till now, the works whatever I saved for the rainy days have never been completed. Many a rainy days came and gone. It took much time to understand that the works are not for the rainy days, but only leisure.
The great time to stop is now.
People might be saying this and that. They say that when you are relaxed and the workload is less or some of the seasons in which you are not so stressed will be the good day to start the experiment with «Quit Smoking».
Can you recollect some of those periods which are sufficient to throw away one of the craving habit of yours? Does it ever occur to you? No, no man ever born has such a time in life which is stress-free and workless.
If you want to stop smoking, you need to do it now or never.
You stop it now.
The stress and other things simply vanish. They come like winds and go without even acknowledging its presence. So worry not about the stress.
A smoke just cannot simply avoid your stress or relax.
Nicotine is not an antidepressant. And there is no point of time when you can stop the smoking. The point which is very apt to stop your habit is now, if you are ready. And there comes the matter of readiness. Never ever have such doubt. You are ready in your conscious and that is why you are reading this. If you took the pain to read till here, you have decided to stop and NOW are only the time to stop.
You may not feel good to stop now because you have few cigarettes left in the packet. Trust me. These few cigarettes are the real culprits. Whenever we try to stop after those few cigarettes, it never occurred. To get hold of something, you have to lose something and here by losing a few cigarettes, you are getting a tremendous well being. Forget those few cigarettes which made your mind spinning. Give away the chances of inability to stop smoking by not considering the last few cigarettes. Give away those last few. The last cigarette was that you just smoked and no further last cigarettes.
Most of the smokers, I say around 99.99% of the smokers were once tried to quit smoking and they failed because of these last few cigarettes. The negligible rest are waiting for the right time to come. And many have seen this right time when they were unable to have any bit of smoke and there was no need to quit smoking. Here you go.
I again insist the right time is now.
